Microsoft’s very own browser that comes with the every version of Windows might be the least used browser, just like the Stock browser in Samsung Phones :P. But the current Windows 10 owns a better version of the Internet Explorer which is named Microsoft Edge. And this Microsoft Edge has an Edge over all those top chart browsers, It can run NetFlix movies and shows Full HD which others don’t allow.

So if you are running Google Chrome, Mozilla FireFox, Opera, Maxthon or any other famous browser then you are watching the Netflix in 720p and beside having the speedy internet you are not getting the best available High Defination videos that you are paying for.

So for the best Full-HD 1920 x 1080 pixels video quality you have to get Microsoft Edge installed and running on your Windows 10 PC.¬†Microsoft’s lauding of Edge comes in a blog post in which the company points out that Firefox, Chrome and Opera are limited to 720p. Pre-empting any concerns that this extra quality comes at the expense of longevity, Microsoft points out that its own test shows that “Microsoft Edge provided the highest quality content and also delivered the longest battery life”.

Beside this the Window 10 users can also download the Official Netflix app for Windows 10 available on the Windows Store which has the ability to run the Netflix video in full HD 1080p capacity.

Here are the browser limits regarding Netflix video playback:

  • Google Chrome: up to 720p
  • Firefox: up to 720p
  • Opera: up to 720p
  • Microsoft Edge: up to 1080p
  • Internet Explorer: up to 1080p
